What is the best game for a student?

There isn’t one universally “best” game for every student—it depends on what they want to get out of it. Here are some of the best choices worldwide based on different goals:

• For learning and creativity: Minecraft: Education Edition or Minecraft – Encourages problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, and basic programming through mods and educational content.
• For strategy and critical thinking: Chess – Improves planning, concentration, memory, and decision-making. It’s available both online and offline.
• For language and general knowledge: Wordle, Scrabble, or Boggle – Great for building vocabulary and spelling.
• For coding skills: Human Resource Machine, 7 Billion Humans, or CodeCombat – Teach programming concepts through gameplay.
• For math practice: Prodigy Math (especially for younger students) – Makes math engaging with role-playing elements.
• For history and resource management: Civilization VI – Encourages strategic thinking and introduces historical civilizations and world events.
• For engineering and logic: Portal 2 – Develops spatial reasoning and puzzle-solving skills.

If I had to recommend just one game for most students worldwide, it would be Minecraft. It combines creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and can even be used to learn coding, engineering concepts, and design, making it enjoyable across a wide range of ages.
